Caleb Gervin
Area Rep

Caleb has been on staff with Coachella Valley FCA since January 2008 and it is exciting for him to be serving the FCA ministry in his home community.  In 1998 Caleb graduated from Cathedral City High School a local school in the Coachella Valley. Before answering the call to ministry Caleb attended the University of Louisville and later transferred to Azusa Pacific where he was an All-American and obtained his BA in Communication Studies.  Caleb also played professional basketball in Germany in 2005. He then played for the ABA in Bellingham, Washington and was chosen to be an All-Star for the West Coast in 2006. Caleb is the nephew of NBA Hall of Famer George “Ice man” Gervin. In 2005 Caleb married his high school sweetheart Ashley Craven; they now have a one-year old son (Cash Gervin). This summer Caleb and Ashley will be celebrating their 5-year anniversary.

 In 1999 Ashley graduated from Palm Desert High School a local Coachella Valley school.  Currently Ashley is a 1st grade teacher in the same school district she attended. Ashley was formerly captain of the UCLA dance team in 2002 and 2003. She later went on to receive her MA from Pepperdine University in Educational Studies in 2005.

 Caleb and Ashley are extremely passionate about serving the youth in their community through the FCA ministry. “Unfortunately, FCA was not accessible to me when I was in high school and now it is a blessing for me to walk a bible onto the same campuses I attended and competed against.”
