Marty Jacobus (JA -CO- BUS) Bio…

Marty Jacobus is the Multi Area Director for SoCal FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes).  He is responsible for overseeing the FCAs ministry in Riverside, San Bernardino and Imperial Counties. 

Marty lives in the Coachella Valley.  He and his wife of 37 years (Jenny) have 4 grown sons and 6 grandchildren.  Jenny died in 2010 and is in the presence of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ now and for all of eternity.  

Marty has been with FCA for almost 9 years and before moving to California his FCA duties included teaching the Bible each week on the Nationwide and Hooters professional golf tours for FCA Golf…  Prior to FCA, he was a high school chemistry and physics teacher as well as a basketball coach for seven years in Illinois, and then spent 23 years in the corporate world, most of which was in New York City.

He has a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Tennessee at Martin (where he played basketball and golf) and a Master of Science in Education from Southern Illinois University.
